A multiple-entry visa for up to one year. The London embassy lists around five business days after receiving the documents. The estimate above follows this route, conditional on a complete accepted application.

B9-1 is a separate IT-specialist visa requiring a qualifying petition. Digital Nomad Residency has a separate preliminary review of 45 calendar days, followed by steps in Kazakhstan. Neither is automatic residence approval; submission status is unconfirmed here. The residency review is not added to the return countdown.

03 Document requirements+
For B12-1, the London embassy lists a request letter for invitation-exempt nationals, a completed visa application form, a 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo, a passport (two blank pages and validity at least three months beyond the requested visa), six months of bank statements showing monthly income over US$3,000, a tax return from the country of citizenship, a no-criminal-record certificate from the country of citizenship or permanent residence, medical insurance covering the visa period, and the visa fee (£170). Invitation requirements depend on nationality; a UK address alone does not establish exemption. Applicants aged 16+ must also register fingerprints under the general visa instructions. Local employment is not permitted under B12-1.
Other paperwork is ready as reported by Zaakir; the checklist has not been independently audited. The ACRO certificate is still pending. The current ACRO processing time could not be verified because its service page failed to load; the estimate does not assume a standard or premium service tier. Confirm certificate legalisation and translation with the consulate: the London B12-1 page does not settle those details.
UK paper legalisation usually takes up to 25 working days plus postage. ACRO certificates cannot use the e-Apostille service. That step, if required, can change the travel estimate substantially.
